WE'VE
CHANGED OUR NAME TO KEYSTONE ENTERPRISE SERVICES
|
|
Previously
branded as GlobeCast, we are thrilled to announce our
new name, Keystone
Enterprise Services.
It reflects the company’s new structure and exclusive
focus on secure video and media delivery for enterprises.
It also pays homage to the company’s pioneering
heritage and leadership role in the satellite transmission
industry.

We first began operations as Bonneville Satellite and
were responsible for the design and build-out of one
of the first satellite-based corporate television networks
in the U.S. We are proud to
continue the company's 28-year legacy of providing large-scale
secure video delivery systems for business under the new name Keystone Enterprise Services.
"The
word ‘Keystone’ is a great analogy for our
philosophy of ‘one-stop shopping’ for service and
support,” said Keven Cahoon, CEO
of Keystone Enterprise Services. “The idea of
a keystone suggests the key role we play supporting
our customers and integrating the supporting elements
they need under one solid structure."
"Although
the name has changed, contracts, service and support
for our customers stay firmly in place. We are more
excited than ever about the company's future
and the new services we are developing for business applications,"
he added.

| LEHIGH UNIVERSITY DISTANCE LEARNING
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS NOW ON KEYSTONE'S SATELLITE PLATFORM |
Lehigh
University is a leader in the field of offering
graduate degrees and certificates by distance. It
develops, delivers and supports distance education
programs nationwide that allow companies to cost-effectively
develop workforce skills, and give individuals professional training. When Lehigh needed a better
nationwide delivery solution, it turned to Keystone
Enterprise Services for a managed
interactive satellite-training network.
According to Peg Portz,
Director of Distance Education at Lehigh, "Partnering
with Keystone Enterprise Services and integrating our
distance programming not only meets our service needs,
we can also provide Keystone clients access to the full
range of quality educational programs that we offer:
a clear value-added benefit of being part of the Keystone
network."
Companies and professionals recognize the value of
Lehigh's programs. For example, Paul Krolikowski,
Merck and Co. Inc., said "As a Distance
Ed student, my experience at Lehigh has been extremely
rewarding and certainly challenging. The advantages
of the satellite program were invaluable to me and
gave the flexibility I needed as a research scientist."
"With Lehigh University's
courses now offered on our satellite platforms, we
can offer even more value to our customers,"
said Dan Loveless, Senior Vice President of Sales
for Keystone Enterprise Services.
In addition to managed
satellite network services, Lehigh is taking advantage
of Keystone's new 100 Megabit-per-second video
access from The Switch
in New York City.

KEYSTONE DEMONSTRATES INNOVATIVE
DIGITAL SIGNAGE APPLICATION AT NAB WITH TECHNOLOGY
PARTNER KENCAST
At
the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention,
Keystone demonstrated its latest Digital Signage application
in partnership with KenCast,
Inc.
Keystone
Digital Signage offers turnkey Digital Signage
network design, installation and end-to-end support,
with the distinct advantage of including an innovative
application of the latest in viewership 'gaze-tracking'
technologies, which provide unprecedented statistical
metrics on who watched what screen and when.
KenCast's
content management and distribution technology forms
part of Keystone's end-to-end solution for delivery
of rich-media content for store & forward, digital
signage, and similar corporate applications.
Keystone is also pleased
to be able to integrate and support two other exciting
new KenCast technologies shown at NAB:
-
Video
On-The-Move (OTM) designed
to capture, encode, and deliver live or canned content
from moving vehicles using any combination of networks
available.
-
KenCast's
Blazeband technology
(patent pending) provides a new mechanism for accelerating
content delivery over IP networks.
"We're
also delighted to partner with Keystone on these kinds
of creative applications, which can benefit the customers
of both our companies," said William E. Steele, Chairman and CEO of KenCast. "We've seen some great interest
from customers in response to these demonstrations," he added.
